Is there an icon category? I couldn't find it.

Anyway, I have an ongoing project called "Icon Everything" in which I'm pretty much making an icon of everything I can think of. This was the flame icon, and I liked it and was bored, so I added a little cheesy gradient and text. Now that I'm looking at it and it's uploading...I notice stuff wrong with it, like the spacing is a bit off. Guess I'll fix it later.

Ooh, I like that a lot! It's funny, a few days after I did it, I went past a restaurant in an area I'd never been before, that had a similar logo. It was kind of funny. =D

Yeah, what I learned from this is that it is good to be creative, but never think you are unique. You see the same thing when you go to a stock photo site (eg punchstock) and you search for eg business man meditating, or woman with laptop. You often see the same compositions then!

The gradient is somewhat cheesy, but I love cheese! Hehe, the flames look a little pixely at the bottom of the flame in the middle. I could see it being some kind of corporate logo!

I remember in GD they told me to never use gradient...but sometimes things just need it!
